Technology Interests. Detailed information on how to respond to a specific
request for information or innovation challenge is provided on our Web site. Responses
will only be reviewed if they are submitted in accordance with the requirements
on the specific request.
If you do send us any unsolicited ideas or suggestions, you agree that there is
no confidential relationship with respect to such information and that Newell Rubbermaid
has no obligation, including financial, to you in connection therewith. You expressly
disclaim and waive all rights in any such information or unsolicited ideas that

- March 2009 - Rubbermaid expands its Easy Find Lids™ System platform with new Lock-its™ food storage container for consumers who want extra security on the go. Rubbermaid Lock-its feature four locking tabs and a built-in rubberized gasket to provide an extra secure, leak-proof seal.
- January 2009 - Ouchless®, Goody’s largest brand, now includes new Ouchless Flex hair accessories. These amazing products hold their shape but flex for a gentle and comfortable fit. The Ouchless Flex line includes Comfort Flex headbands, claw clips and updo barrettes.
- 2009 - Goody launches a new revitalized and feminine look showcasing the brand’s commitment to inspiring confidence and self-expression through hairstyles for women of all ages.
- 2009 - Amerock is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2009, debuting its largest product launch with more than 300 new decorative hardware items in new finishes, styles and sizes.
- August 2008 - Calphalon launched its first line of Kitchen Electrics, extending its presence from stovetop to countertop, featuring four exquisitely designed appliances: an XL Convection Oven, a Removable Plate Grill, a No Peek™ Waffle Maker and a 7 Qt. - June 2008 – The acquisition of Solano® International in 2008 was Beauty & Style’s initial step into the professional electrics beauty business and provides immense product development opportunities.
- April 2008 – The acquisition of Aprica, a leading maker of strollers, car seats and other children’s products, headquartered in Osaka, Japan, added a premium brand with a leading position in Japan and proprietary technology in lightweight strollers and car seats to our Baby & Parenting Essentials business. The nearly 60-year-old brand has been recognized internationally for its extraordinary commitment to pediatric research and dedication to child safety.
- March 2008 – Rubbermaid launched Produce Saver™ containers, designed to help keep fruits and vegetables fresh up to 33 percent longer than regular containers. Produce Saver helps meet a primary consumer need for food storage and also features the Easy Find Lid system to help consumers find the right lid every time.
- February 2008 – A new baby products category is created with the launch of Graco® Sweetpeace™ – the world’s first and only Newborn Soothing Center. Sweetpeace mimics the sensations babies first experienced in the womb to foster an easier transition from womb to world by providing a peaceful multi-sensory experience that soothes a baby’s senses.
